Today I also added a new static page, which I refer to as music. Here I will add more static stuff like my collection (TBA), forthcoming releases, and wishlists (TBA). Main interests here are electronics. I used this fancy wp-Table plugin by Alex Rabe, to neatly line out all the new releases for ya. Enjoy.
Though being sold out everywhere, I managed to obtain a copy today of this absolute bomb; Disco Volante. Ida Engberg might be the most beautiful female DJ in the world. Starting at the age of 18, this Swedish beauty is now resident of many clubs and has her own EP out. Already released in summer 2007, now it’s making a comeback because of this amazing remix by Sébastien Léger (on La Musique Fait La Force, Belgium). Listen/purchase it on Juno. Whilst you’re at her MySpace, you might want to check her remix she did (together with David West) on Dada Life‘s Sweeter than Fever (Pickadoll, Germany).
Also yesterday, I bought this electro EP (which was already released in August last year), called Space Warrior, by Smith N Hack (a collaboration between Errorsmith & Soundhack) on their own label. I completely fell in love with the B-side of this single, called Falling Stars, since Dave Clarke played it on 3voor12 White Noise (on 3FM), 29th of september (second hour). Currently it’s out of stock, but you should be able to get it from Juno.
My frist white label purchase, actually. The new EP by Amit on Commercial Suicide. Though this record does not drop until April; my local recordstore already obtained a white label copy of this new EP. You might have noticed this non-standard Kubrick header for a while now. I used it, since that rollback of just a couple of weeks ago disabled GD for PHP (which my hoster is working on right now). I decided to edit the header script of the Kubrick theme a bit, firstly just to get this blue wallpaper. Now (after pressing Ctrl+F5), 5 different headers appear at random, being: Wallpaper, Blackberries, Headphones, Sky, and Turntable. Enjoy!
