Description: My very first website I made at uni. Then it was still called ‘bboterm a.k.a. Daraja’, but it was the first Heavy Distortion series I made. Although I replaced it very quickly with v2, I still managed to dig up a screenie of v1.

Description: Second edition of my first page I got really serious about. What more can I say? Just simple tables, left navigation and clear use of colours. Fancy the pixel font titles.

Description: Third version of the Heavy Distortion series; completely different design. Used some pinestripe and right navigation. Also included Margo Chase’s font as a title. Hard to script; so took it offline after a little while.

Description: Very stylish version of the Heavy Distortion series. Probably the one I like best. Took a while to come up with a new design, but it never saw the light of day, simply because of the fact that it was too complicated to build right and I had too much content for the little space I reserved.

Description: Simplistic design, started using divs. v5 was exactly the same as v5.1, only v5.1 is more dynamic. The accent on this site was sorting out my QOTD and letting people know me better by listing some music. Personally I really like the fancy graphics to the right and love the grey and orange theme (especially the flame).

Description: Heavy Distortion page parallel to Heavy Distortion v5.1. Wanted to delete v5.1 after a little while, but I never took the effort to do so. My simplistic goth design took a peek in v6. Made it even more dynamic with a CMS and stuff, and improved my QOTD. Used it as a way to express my happiness about daraja.nl. Artwork by Clara Lindstedt.

Description: After the dark decades I decided to make something new and fresh to accompany my webdesign business. I used the XOOPS template designed by kavaXtreme, but made the entire engine myself, just for a clear indexed look for all my websites.

Description: After being annoyed by the standardness of the Kubrick header theme (don’t ask), I decided to rebuild. Using my favourite pink colour (#FF0097), and diagonal striping, I made a complete new layout. Really love this one, for its simplicity and complexity. Simplicity as it were, for its design and complexity for its CMS. It was customly build and very nifty (if I may say so). Sorry to have it offline, but since the crash, I decided to not use it anymore – though it’s my most beloved site until now.
Title: Daraja v7.1 – Webdesign and Engineering (early version)

Description: After the webserver where I host daraja.nl crashed, and the backup server crashed as well, I got stuck with a really old version of daraja.nl. I was so annoyed that I had to setup my whole CMS again, that I decided to do stuff differently from now on. I started using WordPress for the first time and temporarily choose the Kubrick header theme again until I found something more suitable. The only thing I did were minor CSS changes and making my own headers.
