It has been quite a while since I heard anything from Sébastien Léger. I really used to love the man, with his massive Essential mix, and other great tracks like ‘Bad Clock‘, ‘Hit Girl‘, ‘Hypnotized‘, ‘Mars‘ (from the ‘Planets‘ Album), and many, many more (the list never stops). And yet, he’s back with a nother monster called ‘Marina/Jungle‘ (Mistakes Music, France). Both tracks are featured on this release, and again, it’s native Séb Léger style. I believe it’s currently a Beatport exclusive, but still worth the download!

I’ve been in love with Gui Boratto‘s music since the moment I laid my hands on Chromophobia. Very solid album with only real bangers! After that I still followed the man a bit, with great EPs like ‘The Island‘ (with Martin Eyerer) and ‘Anunciación‘. After that, I lost him out of sight. But a few weeks ago on Tiësto‘s Club Life, I heard a new track by him, called ‘No Turning Back‘, which I really, really liked. Apparently, a new album came out recently, called ‘Take My Breath Away‘ (Kompakt, Germany). Right now, I have renewed interest in Gui Boratto, and you have to check out ‘No Turning Back‘, which is featured below, and ‘Atomic Soda‘, which was released as an EP (Kompakt, Germany) beforehand. Beautiful masterpiece!

First heard this song on Shur-I-Kan‘s podcast of March 2009. I’ve fallen in love with its deep house sounds completely, very, very nice sound. It’s due to drop on Simple Records (UK) somewhere this week. From studying music at Oxford University, to starting one of the early live electronic acts (Beat Foundation) in the ’90s with Andy Cato of Groove Armada, to writing a string of underground club hits on his label Playtime, Mike Monday has consistently stood apart from the crowd. ‘Zwivetty‘ is just another masterpiece from his hand.

Quite a while ago, I already posted about this magnificent track some time ago. But now I found a set of remixes which literally blew my mind! District One a.k.a. Bart Skils and Anton Pieete did a remix on Rejected‘s ‘Let’s Go Juno‘ (Rejected Music, Netherlands), which is absolutely thrilling. On the flip side there’s a remix of ‘Cliché‘ by Polder. Both very, very big remixes! Really worth a listen.
